Hey all,

Sorry to bother you again, but I’ve just been told that our Tuesday event, the talk by Druid Con Connor on Tara, has been moved to A.109 in Arts. The start time is the same. Hope to see a good few of you there.

PaganSoc Events for this week

~ PaganSoc

September 25th, 2006

Hey all,

As you can see we are still having trouble sending out-goiong emails from our email address (pagansoc@netsoc.com) but we can still receive them so we won’t miss anything you send us. So this week is very packed;

Tuesday, 26th Sept;
Druid Con Connor (www.druidschool.com) will be giving a talk on ‘Tara, the NRA, Opus Dei, & Pagan Rights’. He has given this talk previously to the UCC Pagan Society, and we met him at a ritual held at Tara on the Solstice. Con is a very opinionated man with strong beliefs about the destruction of Tara. This promises to be a lively talk. We will be meeting up from 6:30pm onwards, the main talk starting at 7pm. It’ll be about an hour or so long, with time given over for questions/debates.
It’s in G15 of Agricultural Science (The Bin) again. That’s just opposite Science before you reach the Student Centre.

Wednesday, 27th Sept;
We have another Coffee Lunch this week. This time it’s in Meeting Room 5 (that’s just around the corner from the Blue Room) upstairs in the Student Centre. It starts at 1pm.

Thursday, 28th Sept;
Wing (http://whitedragons.org) will be holding a guided meditation. Last I heard it will have a Celtic spin to it, but then these things are liable to change. It will focus on the meditation, but will also look at grounding. This starts at 7pm, but getting there early would be advisable as the rooms available are small and there’s been alot of interest about this. And while chairs will be made available if you would rather not use a chair please bring your own cushion! Unfortunately we have none to share.
It’s again upstairs in the Student Centre, this time Meeting Rooms 1&2.

And that’s about it for this week. Next week things will be quietening down a bit, but more details on that later. And for anyone who showed up to the Coffee Lunch last week to find us gone I apologise, but we ran out of biscuits. Don’t forget you can contact us about anything via pagansoc@netsoc.com.

Regards,
Cheryl-Anne
