Hi everyone, this weeks event will take place tomorrow evening, Tuesday the 21st, in the Student centre at 6pm. It will be a talk about magic, what it is and how it works. If you are interested, come along! Also please note that this week’s coffee morning begins at 11am on Wednesday until 2pm. There will be tea and biscuits for all!

Hi everyone. The events for this week will take place on Tuesday the 30th and Wednesday the 1st.
On Tuesday evening, at 7pm in the Student Centre in Meeting Room 3, I will be running a workshop/discussion group on “Ritual Tools of Paganism: What and How we use them”. It should be an interesting event for everyone, those that know about tools (of Ritual) and especially for those who don’t. Come along if it interests you, even if it doesnt, come along anyway, we’re lovely people!
The Coffee morning this week is on Wednesday the 1st of October in the Student Centre between 12pm and 3pm. I hope everyone that came last week had a good time and returns in the future. Same drill as last week, tea, coffee, biscuits if you get there early enough..

Wednesday 5th 6pm: Rooms 1+2 (upstairs Student Centre): “Bigotry On Campus”. Without a doubt all of us have been hit by bigotry in some way, this week’s group is all about the unfortunate presence of bigotry in UCD.
Also it looks like the evening events may be moving again, this time to Tuesday to accommodate more people. And of course if there’s an event you’d like us to run email us at ucdpagan@gmail.com

Finally, I hope you all have a good mid-term break, good luck with projects and please be aware that next term is AGM season so if you’re looking to get involved now is the time.
Wednesday 27th 6pm: Room3 (upstairs Student Centre): Our second Discussion Group of the year, “From Wicker Man to Buffy: 30 Years of Paganism in Pop-Culture”.

Thursday 28th 12-3pm: Coffee Morning Rooms 1-2 (upstairs Student Centre).
Wednesday 20th 6pm: Room3 (upstairs Student Centre): Our first Discussion Group of the year, “Coming Out of the Broom-Closet”. We’ll be discussing what it was like for those who have told family and friends that they are pagan and what’s the best way of going about it.
Next week we’ll have ”The Effect of Popular Pagan Imagery”.

Hey All,
I’m sorry this is so late, I suck. Which is also the reason that there is no coffee lunch this week. By the time I went to book the room someone had taken it already. So I’m sorry again. But, there is definitely a coffee lunch next week. But as for this week, there is a Discussion Group on Thursday, 7-9pm, in Room 5 in the Student Centre. It’s a Hallowe’en special, all things ghosty and supernatural. Think mediums, seances, ghost-hunting and the like. Should be fun.
And in other news, our webmaster is working away on the site and should be up and working in the not too distant future. Also, plans for the Samhain party are coming along nicely. It’s next Thursday so don’t forget!
